If you are not sure about what is the right position then discuss the matter with a builder or an architect. It these people who may be able to answer certain questions with regards to placement and erection of a gazebo in your garden that you may not know about.
One thing you may need to do is actually obtain permits to have such a structure installed in your garden. Also you may find that there are certain regulations set by your local Government offices that require the structure to be located in certain positions and for example may need to be more than 20 feet from any property boundaries. However, a quick call to your local planning authority office should provide you with answers to these and other questions you may have regarding the erection of a gazebo in your garden.
It is important when deciding the exact location for your gazebo to be erected on you take into consideration not only the size of your garden but the way in which it has been laid out. If for example you happen to have water feature like a pond in yours then it is worth actually locating your gazebo as close to this feature as you possibly can.
Something else that you need to remember when you are thinking of getting gazebos is what materials you want it to be constructed from as well as what style you have chosen. If you are going for one that comes with extra features such as decking then you need to have ample space to erect it so it won’t encroach on to other areas of your garden.
Although most of the gazebos you see that people have erected in their gardens are made from wood, there are plenty of other wonderful materials being used in the construction of such structures. In some cases because people prefer a low maintenance option they will go for ones that are made from iron, steel or aluminium, which all look just as attractive as the wooden types.
